With the NIS2 Directive, thousands of companies in Germany are facing new regulatory requirements in the field of cybersecurity. G DATA CyberDefense is expanding the G DATA academy portfolio with a compact e-learning course designed to prepare executive management specifically for these requirements.

Companies in Germany are increasingly turning to service providers to ensure effective cybersecurity. This is one of the findings of the report “Cybersicherheit in Zahlen” by G DATA CyberDefense, Statista and brand eins. 63 per cent of companies work with IT security providers, and almost a third (32 per cent) with a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). The third most common form of collaboration involves industry-specific networks and initiatives. The results show that IT security is increasingly becoming a joint effort between companies and external specialists.

G DATA CyberDefense is placing the focus on ‘cyber trust’ in its new partner programme for sales partners. The new model links sales performance with active engagement. In doing so, G DATA is creating additional incentives for shared, sustainable growth and success within the channel.
