AV-Comparatives certifies Managed Extended Detection and Response from G DATA CyberDefense

MXDR "Made in Germany" impresses in EDR Detection Validation Certification Test

Managed Extended Detection and Response from G DATA CyberDefense impressed the testers at AV-Comparatives across the board in the first-ever EDR Detection Validation Certification Test and has therefore been awarded the coveted certification. The solution detected the attack scenarios used and thus proved its protection performance. The award from the independent and renowned test laboratory shows that customers can completely rely on G DATA.

The testers from AV-Comparatives put G DATA 365 | MXDR to the test: the managed solution had to recognise a full attack scenario in the EDR Detection Validation Test. This consisted of 12 individual sub-steps. The testers also assessed the ratio of relevant security alerts to irrelevant or false alarms. The German Managed Extended Detection and Response solution passed the test and was therefore awarded the coveted certification.

The test laboratory analysed a total of five EDR offerings. G DATA 365 | MXDR is the only German-made and the only managed solution in the test field.

AV-Comparatives' verdict on G DATA 365 | MXDR: G DATA successfully participated in this round with its MDR solution, proving that even managed offerings can be evaluated under realistic, controlled attack conditions.
